Right now, creative firms are busy gaining clarity and being proactive on how they address the challenges of the coming months. Having a clear strategy for survival is essential for many.
I’m seeing and directly involved in the significant impact of Coronavirus on one of my clients. In recent months we’ve been gearing the business for expansion and suddenly we are in survival mode, busy reviewing, rapidly planning and acting on decisions to ensure the business stays afloat. We’re forming a plan of action that ensures operational continuity at a sustainable cost to the business, whilst thinking how we can be constructive and proactive together during the downturn.
Busy being a sounding board and thinking on our feet together, one day at a time, to ensure we make the right moves as developments unfold.
Incredibly challenging times and really important it seems for those affected to be on the ‘front foot’ despite the possible inclination to simply hunker down and try to weather the storm. If Coronavirus has impacted your firm, like it has one of my clients, it’s time to get on your toes, become focused and start planning ahead for when normal working conditions eventually return.
Of course, this is not just about business, it’s personal. And so we review, plan and take action on how to finance and safely live our lives away from work in the months ahead.
Here to help if anyone needs support with all this, and equally receptive to collaborating with like-minds to form a complementary working group as a support network to those that need help.
For now, sending my best wishes to you and your families in the coming difficult weeks. Take care, and here’s hoping we can all return to some kind of normality in the not too distant future.
